FlowBiz Piston Valve is a zero leak isolation Piston Valve in which Lower & Upper Sealing rings and a Piston replace the seat & gland. The Universal Valve can be used for isolation and throttling applications and is open with flanged, socket-weld and screwed ends. The Piston Valve is a linear action valve in which a stainless-steel piston travels between the upper and lower seal rings.

These rings are split by a lantern bushing, which helps the piston and creates a bubble-tight seal. When the Valve is in an open place, the upper seal ring, meeting with the piston, leaks through the stalk. The lower seal ring seals the Valve – method in the closed part and supplies a tight shutoff. For their exceptional performance and long life, Piston Valves can handle a type of media such as vapor, condensate, thermal fluid, and many other liquids and gasses. They can be used in on/off and throttling applications.
