NON-RETURN VALVE
HOW DOES A NON-RETURN VALVE WORK?
A non-return valve usually has only two entrances in the body, with a closing member between them. When the fluid enters the valve, its pressure opens the closing tool. If the fluid risks flow back through the valve in the wrong order, the closing component is moved around over the opening of the valve, controlling any flow.
WHAT IS A NON-RETURN VALVE USED?
A non-return valve, also known as a check valve, clack valve, one-way valve, or retention valve, is prepared to allow fluid to flow in one direction only, preventing the liquid or gas from flowing upstream of the valve. We look below at how a non-return valve operates, including some of the applications in which you might find one.
