In this machine, a valve maintains a floating trap ball. When the valve body is loaded with liquid, the ball floats on the liquid. An iron rod attaches the floating ball to the valve gate to open as it flows upwards. The moisture will push the ball downwards, closing the gate. Also, the Valve can permit steam flow at an adjusted or collected rate.
